Personal data collection

Valentin Agency collects the personal data of its users as part of its matrimonial brokerage activities. The data collected includes: last name, first name, email address, phone number, and any information voluntarily provided by the user.

This data is collected through forms on the site: compatibility test, contact form, newsletter signup, and registration questionnaire (anketa).

Clients of the introduction service also provide the Agency with a copy of a valid identity document. It is sent directly by messaging rather than through a form on the site. This document is used solely to verify the client's identity before any introduction to a member. It is neither published nor passed to third parties, and follows the retention period stated below.

Processing purposes

The collected data is used to:

  • Manage registrations and member profiles
  • Provide introductions between members
  • Communicate with users (transactional emails: confirmations, file tracking)
  • Send marketing communications (advice, news, service offers) — only with the user's explicit consent
  • Improve our services
  • Comply with our legal obligations

Consent to marketing communications

Sending marketing emails (advice, news, offers) requires your explicit consent, collected via an unchecked opt-in box on our forms. You may withdraw this consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email, or by contacting us at contact@valentin.love.

Retention period

Personal data is kept for the entire membership duration and for 3 years after the end of the contractual relationship. Marketing consent data is kept until consent is withdrawn.

User rights

Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection concerning your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw marketing consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at: contact@valentin.love

Security

Valentin Agency implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, modification, disclosure or destruction.

Data, including copies of identity documents, is stored on access-restricted Supabase infrastructure, and is not retained in the messaging apps through which it was sent.
