Why Moscow, why this mission
I left Paris for Moscow in 2021 with one conviction: you cannot guide men toward serious relationships with Russian women while staying in Paris. International matchmaking demands a permanent presence on the ground — a local team that speaks the language, interviews the candidates, filters them, and understands their daily life and culture.
Valentin Love opened in Moscow in 2022 with a permanent French- and English-speaking team. More than 650 verified candidates have now gone through our interviews. Our method is simple: no candidate enters the database without an individual interview with a member of the team.
Our method, our values
Serious matchmaking is not a dating site with an extra filter. It is a hands-on process: an honest diagnostic of your project, a targeted selection of compatible profiles, and a structured trip to Moscow to meet candidates in person.
Three principles guide every file: transparency (public pricing, no hidden options), verification (every candidate filmed, interviewed, contextualised), and mutual respect (we turn away non-serious profiles and rushed processes). We work with a deliberately small number of clients each year to preserve quality of follow-up.
Member of the Matchmakers Alliance
Valentin Love is one of the very few French-language agencies admitted to the Matchmakers Alliance, the international reference network for professional matchmaking. Membership comes with a strict code of conduct, regular peer audits, and a binding transparency commitment.
For you, this is an additional guarantee: if you entrust us with your project, you are working with an agency accredited by its international peers — not with an opportunistic intermediary.
Media presence and publications
I regularly publish analyses on international matchmaking, contemporary Russian culture, and the psychology of long-distance relationships — on the Valentin Love blog, on my YouTube channel, and through occasional contributions to French-language and English-language media.
My goal is not to sell a dream. It is to give men considering a serious relationship in Russia or Belarus the information they need to decide in full awareness — including the reasons why it may not be the right path for them.
