Security and Anonymity

‍

VALENTIN, as an international matchmaking agency, handles the issue of security with the utmost responsibility. VALENTIN makes every possible effort to protect the data entrusted to it by its clients from any unauthorized access. We aim for maximum data security through technical safeguards and the installation of firewalls. Data shared with our partner agencies in the course of your search for a woman is transferred between protected databases and never posted online.

Contact with Russian women during online meetings takes place via video conference rooms where your personal information is not disclosed. The client’s name, email address, and all personal information remain confidential at all times. In this way, the client’s identity is protected, and he alone decides if and when to reveal it during contact.

‍

Authorization and Right of Withdrawal

1. Authorization

By subscribing to an offer, the client authorizes VALENTIN or partner agencies acting on behalf of and at the request of VALENTIN to collect, process, and use personal data based on the following data protection provisions. The client's authorization is documented by VALENTIN.

2. Withdrawal

The client has the right to revoke, at any time and within the framework of legal regulations, his authorization for the use of his data, either entirely or in part, as described in detail below. He also has the right to object to the use of his anonymized or pseudonymized data.

To withdraw consent, simply send an email including the registered email address to VALENTIN via the contact form available at the bottom of the valentin.love website.

3. No Forced Consent

In accordance with legal requirements, VALENTIN does not make the provision of its services dependent on the client’s authorization to use his data for purposes other than those inherent to and required for fulfilling the matchmaking contract.

Data Protection Provisions

1. Collection, Processing, and Use of Personal Data

To provide the matchmaking services described in more detail in the general terms and conditions, VALENTIN must collect, process, and use personal data provided by the client, particularly during the registration process or when completing the personality and relationship assessment.

Personal data refers to individual information about a defined or definable natural person’s personal or material circumstances.

During registration, the client is required to provide a minimum amount of information necessary to complete the registration. These mandatory data points are responses to the questionnaire preceding the relationship assessment.

The client also answers a series of personal questions (such as preferences and other important aspects for partner presentation), which serve as the basis for creating the client’s profile.

2. Purpose

The main purpose of VALENTIN in collecting personal data is to enable the client to use VALENTIN’s services safely, easily, efficiently, and personally. The client's personal data is used, in particular, for the following:

  • Providing the services requested by the client and customer service support
  • Adapting, evaluating, and improving VALENTIN’s services, content, and advertisements; including ensuring the quality of VALENTIN’s services through customer surveys (via email or phone) and satisfaction surveys following interactions between our members and the customer service team
  • Notifying the client about VALENTIN’s services, targeted marketing, and promotional offers from VALENTIN’s partner agencies (see clause 3.4)
  • Sending marketing communications
  • Preventing, detecting, and investigating potentially prohibited or illegal activities and enforcing VALENTIN’s terms and conditions
  • Settling disputes and resolving problems

3. Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

VALENTIN does not sell, trade, or otherwise misuse personal data. VALENTIN does not share clients' personal data with third parties unless the client has given explicit consent or there is a legal obligation to do so.

Third parties include non-external service providers who act on behalf of VALENTIN, such as payment providers, debt collection agencies, or email/newsletter distributors.

4. Use of Personal Data for Advertising

As part of the free or paid contractual relationship, VALENTIN will send the client product information regarding VALENTIN. Newsletters and information about products and services from partner companies will only be sent if the client explicitly requests them. If the client no longer wishes to receive them, he can revoke consent at any time. Each email/newsletter includes a clear unsubscribe link.

5. Use of Cookies

VALENTIN uses cookies to tailor and optimize the client’s online experience. A cookie is a text file stored on the computer’s hard drive, either temporarily until the browser is closed ("session cookies") or for a longer period ("persistent cookies") with a predetermined expiration date. Cookies may contain information about previous visits to the corresponding server or about the offers accessed. Cookies are not used to run programs or install viruses. Instead, cookies help provide a personalized experience and make the use of the service more convenient.

VALENTIN uses session cookies, partner and affiliate cookies, as well as persistent cookies.

(1) Session Cookies

VALENTIN mainly uses session cookies, which are only temporarily stored and deleted when the browser is closed. These cookies are used for login authentication and load balancing.

(2) Partner and Affiliate Cookies

VALENTIN also uses cookies when a client accesses the service via an external advertising platform. These cookies are used for tracking with cooperation partners and contain no personal data. They are automatically deleted after four weeks.

(3) Persistent Cookies

Persistent cookies store user settings provided during use of VALENTIN’s service to personalize and improve the experience. They allow the client to retrieve his personal settings on future visits.

(4) Partner/Advertiser Pages

If VALENTIN’s service is integrated into a partner company’s website, those companies may also use cookies on the embedded pages. VALENTIN has no control over and bears no responsibility for the data protection practices of those companies. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.

(5) Blocking Cookies

Clients can disable cookies at any time by adjusting browser settings or using additional software. More details can be found in the help function of the client’s browser. If the client chooses to block cookies, it may limit the range of available services and negatively impact the use of VALENTIN’s services.

6. Information About Stored Data

The client has the right to request information at any time about the data VALENTIN has stored about him, its origin, its purpose, and the recipients. This information is free and provided in writing.

Requests should be submitted via the contact form at the bottom of the valentin.love website.

7. Deletion and Correction of Data

In accordance with legal provisions, the client has the right to request the correction or deletion of his stored data at any time.

To do so, simply send an email including the registered email address via the contact form at the bottom of the valentin.love website.

‍

8. Technical Limitations

The client is aware that, due to the current state of technology, data protection during internet data transmission cannot be fully guaranteed. Emails in particular do not represent secure communication, as it is technically possible for content to be accessed by third parties. The client is responsible for ensuring the security of the data he transmits via the internet.
